We all know that good food is paramount to the general enjoyment of life and to some it is the highlight of the day.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent cuisine with a choice of menu at all times. If there is something that a resident particularly likes then they have only to ask and on most occasions we can oblige.
We offer a high standard of cooking; selecting our ingredients for their freshness and nutritional value. Our aim is to provide balanced meals whilst paying particular care and attention to our residents’ individual likes and dislikes. We have regular resident’s meetings in which residents are encouraged to express their views and opinions. The menus are made available in advance and a daily menu is displayed near the dining room. We cater for special diets including vegetarian, diabetic and celiac.
Breakfast may be served in resident’s rooms or in the dining room. Residents are encouraged to socialise in the dining room for lunch and tea but may, if they wish, enjoy their meal in their own room.
Drinks are served throughout the day and Happy Hour is at 4.00pm.
Breakfast is served when the resident wishes, generally between 7.00am and 9.00am.
Lunch is served in two sittings 12.00 and 1.00 p.m.
Tea is served in two sittings 5.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m
Supper is served from 8.00 p.m.
We add variety to our seasonal menus by celebrating occasions that are special to our residents such as Birthdays, Anniversaries and other holidays and festivals’.
We are proud to have received 5 stars for Food Hygiene at every assessment. Our chefs put a great deal of thought into menu planning and meeting the residents’ nutritional needs. They offer variety every day on the menu, and resident’s are offered choice at every meal. Their feedback informs future menus.
